Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)
Adding PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) to your own fat, aids your fat to develop its own new blood supply, resulting in better survival of the transplanted fat. First, we take some blood (10 vials) from your arm just like when you have a blood test at your family doctor’s office. The blood is treated and concentrated in a centrifuge that extracts the growth factors, proteins, and platelets. Then the PRP is mixed with your fat before injection.
